The WriteShop offers outsourced communication solutions to companies that lack the time, resources, or expertise to make communications a strategic advantage. We usually work on a project-by-project basis, so there’s no retainer fee or long-term commitment.

No project is handed off to a beginner at The WriteShop. The firm’s owner, Nancy Jackson, who has worked as a professional communicator since 1997, oversees every project. She has developed communications materials for companies in a number of industries, including healthcare,
technology, education, travel and hospitality, and economic development. With experience as a staff writer, editor, freelance writer, public relations consultant, and college writing instructor, Nancy has the skills to make your communications project a success. When projects require additional expertise, Nancy partners with other communications professionals in her extensive network, including writers, designers, photographers, and others.

How does The WriteShop charge for its services?

We work on a project basis, with all prices quoted in advance. Our fees vary depending on the scope of the project and the role that you want us to play in it, but they are always competitive with the local market. In fact, because we are a small shop and avoid the high overhead costs of an agency, working with us can often get you agency-quality work without the high prices.
